PILATES
Combining the mindfulness of yoga and the technique of body building, Pilates is an effective exercise system accessible to all levels of fitness and flexibility. As with yoga the focus is on moving with the breath and utilising the breath to support each exercise, all the while staying aware of the whole body as you move. As with body building the exercises are repetitive and focus on one or one set of muscle groups at a time to tone and sculpt the body. Pilates as opposed to Yoga may be better suited for those with limited movement.
